A food disorder points the finger at the victim. They are expected to seek the medication and analysis required.   A food addiction points the finger at those who cause it, - the food industry. It’s all about the choice of wording!

Tobacco addiction causes lung cancer.Food addiction kills people with diseases like Morbid Obesity, Diabetes Type 2, heart disease, Colon and bowel Cancer.  Food addiction is not something the food industry wants publicised anytime soon.
